Attorney Kaitlin Verdura provides expert legal representation to individuals throughout the state of Arizona. Ms. Verdura’s practice is dedicated to the aggressive representation of individuals facing felony and misdemeanor criminal charges. Her practice areas include the following:
- Misdemeanor and felony DUI defense including: Regular DUI’s, Extreme DUI’s, Super Extreme DUI’s and Aggravated DUI’s.
- Sex crimes cases including: Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Molestation of a Child, Luring, Sexual Assault, Indecent Exposure and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
- Major felony violent crimes including: Robbery, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Kidnapping.
- Weapons charges including: Misconduct Involving Weapons, Unlawful Discharge of a Weapon and Concealed Weapons Violations.
- Property crimes including: Theft, Identify Theft, Auto Theft, Burglary, Shoplift, and Trafficking in Stolen Property.
- Drug offenses including: Drugs Sales, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Prescription Drugs and Trafficking cases.
Prior to going into private practice, Ms. Verdura worked as a prosecutor where she learned to navigate the criminal justice system from the State’s perspective. As a prosecutor, Ms. Verdura worked in the Major Adult Felony and Sex Crimes Bureaus and was responsible for charging and litigating criminal cases from intake through trial. While in this position, Ms. Verdura worked directly with law enforcement to secure convictions and also trained members of law enforcement on various topics in criminal law. She then started her own criminal defense law firm where she has since utilized her specialized training as a prosecutor to defend the constitutional rights of criminal defendants.
In 2012, Ms. Verdura was recognized by the National Trial Lawyers and awarded the “Top 40 Trial Lawyers Under 40” for her litigation skills. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Verdura was appointed by the United States Federal District Court of Arizona as a member to its Trial Panel. Ms. Verdura continues to advocate on behalf of her clients in both state and federal court.
